Original from the sunny state of California, one day FC decided to pack up her life and head out east, to New York City to be exact. It was a warm day in August about two years ago, and since that day shes never looked back. From the first stroll through Central Park to her first weekend spent in The Village, she knew that although she may have left her heart in San Francisco, she had now made room for a new city in her heart and that would never change. Working for a top American designer and living in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, life couldn’t get any more fabulous. Then FC realized she needed someone in her life to share all of this joy with, which brings us to the moment when FC adopted her adorable little Lhasa Apso, Pomeranian mix from CT. On the scenic drive back to NYC her new little guy wouldn’t stop crying in the car, that was until FC played Frank Sinatra on the radio and it seemed to be music to his ears. From that moment FC decided to name her little guy Frankie Casanova, or better known as Frankie C.
It didn’t take long for Frankie to steal his mommy’s heart, she started designing clothes for him and making them herself. Frankie went everywhere with FC. He became a traveling extraordinaire before he was even three months old, jetting off to Boston for the week, Miami for vaca or California for the holidays, Frankie was “livin’ the pUPscale life”! While on holiday in California, FC realized that there were probably a lot of other puppies out there who wanted a taste of the pUPscale life, which is why she has decided to start her own business to included fashion and lifestyle lines for puppies “who dream of livin’ the pUPscale life”.
This blog will serve as our inspiration while starting our company and bring you all the tips/advice needed to “live the pUPscale life you deserve”. Your comments are greatly appreciated, feedback is always helpful. Remember your pup is just as fabulous as you are and because of that deserves nothing but the very best!
Lots of kisses,
fc² (FC& Frankie C.)

Hello FC:
Congratulations, from one business owner to another…it’s a lot of work HUH?
I’ve started a company that I’d like to talk with you about, it’s called PAW; Pet-friendly Accommodations Worldwide. It is the only online hotel booking engine that exclusively offers luxury, (4-star or higher rated) pet-friendly hotels for booking. Are you participating in NY Pet Fashion Week? I am and will be in NY Aug. 22-25. would love to meet for a cup of coffee and brainstorm.
I’m not in the accessories or pet apparel business at all, but I’ve got a couple of ideas that maybe we could collaborate on.
You can contact me at janine@luxurypaw.com
Good luck to you in your ventures!
Janine
